Sending a quote or estimate to customers

Once you add a quote or estimate, it gets saved as draft in the system. You have the following options to send it to your customers -

  • While adding the quote or estimate, you can use the "Save & Send" option. Using this option will e-mail the estimate in PDF format to the customer. This will also change the status of the estimate to "sent".
  • To send a quote or estimate that has been saved as draft, go to the details page of that estimate and click on the "Send" icon at the top of the page.
  • You can also print the quote or estimate to mail (snail mail) it directly to the customer. To print an estimate, go to the details page of that estimate and click on the "Print" icon at the top of the page.

You also have the option to CC yourself on all customer communications. Just check the checkbox on the left side of the dialog that appears upon clicking the send icon.
