Importing contacts from Zoho CRM

You can very easily import your accounts and contacts from Zoho CRM to Zoho Invoice and use that information while creating your invoices. Here are the steps for doing it-

  • Go to the “Settings” page and click on the “Import from Zoho CRM” link on the left under “Import/Export” section.
  • Specify your Zoho CRM login name and API key. If you don’t have an API key, you can request for one from your Zoho CRM account. For further details refer - Getting API Key.
  • After filling in the necessary details, click on the “Save & Import” button.

All your accounts and contacts from Zoho CRM will be imported to Zoho Invoice.

Keeping the records updated

After importing the data, you can use the “Sync” option to keep the records up to date.

  • Click on the “Customer” tab.
  • Click on the “Sync” link next to “Zoho CRM” link under “Imported Customers”

That’s it! All the records will be automatically updated!! You also have options to -

  • Sync up the records individually.
  • Sync up a selected set of records.

Some specific information

There is no concept like contact’s address in Zoho Invoice, so we will not be pulling out this information from Zoho CRM. Remember, contact’s address is different from customer’s address. We do make use of the customer’s (account) address.
